Saw something about Physical games being 90 bucks, I can’t hang with that

If the rumors for game pricing are true ($80+) then I’m out, I already have a large enough backlog as it is

Think I'd rather save my cash and wait for you to upload "Good Games Stuck On Switch 2"

Not after seeing the game pricing model. 90 dollars for Mariokart is lunacy.

It definitely feels like the 3DS launch. Not enough compelling games, big price tag for the hardware. $90 for physical games is close to $130 CAD with the current rate, plus 13% tax here in Ontario. That's $147 for games that never go on sale. That's too rich for my blood as a single professional. IDK how parents are going to swing it. I might reconsider it once Monolithsoft's next game comes out. Maybe I can at least get a used system by then. Better to invest that money in a more powerful PC handheld or the next gen Deck.

I'm very happy with my Steam Deck. Nintendo consoles seem like money pits which return fewer games and hours of playtime per dollar spent than any other. The intended price hikes only further highlight that point.

The price is too high, especially for Mario Kart. What in the world are they thinking? I still have 360 games I haven't gotten around to yet; I'll pick it up a few years down the line.

With games costing 80-90 bucks a pop and only two exclusive games announced that I’d currently buy anyway , I’m… extremely hesitant.

Yes but not straight away. Usually wait for later models although that has become less important nowadays.

180 dollar cheaper region locked Japanese version with games at a 90 dollar price point... I'm sadly a bit on the fence now.
