Am a 72 year old still working woman caring for my 96 year old Mother and just don't have a clue how I would go about doing something like this on my own!

I’m not interested in living off grid, although it is interesting to learn about it. I’m more interested in tiny living/tiny homes closer to towns and cities. I’m close to retirement age and want to live near my family, friends, medical care, stores, and conveniences.

I wish I t can be done somewhat closer to a big city as many need smaller affordable homes are in need of doctors/ hospitals for tests, etc. This is the perfect scenario for living as you age. I believe many cool add ons would assist in making these look amazing, which would be the lure for all to get involved

I've wanted to do that my whole life! I've always thought the pioneers lived the perfect lives. Burning wood for heat and cooking. Pumping water. I would want a nice functioning bathroom with a tub and shower. And air conditioning. I'm 68. My husband would never live that way. He's too spoilt to life's luxury's.

Hello from Herne Bay, Kent, England. I opted "No" only because I have a house bought and paid for. Were my circumstances different, I would opt "Yes" and downsize/minimalise too.

Very interested, you never know where life takes you! I have some land that I would go to if I ever lost my current home and needed a new place. So I try to soak up as much knowledge about off grid living ! Thanks for your videos!

I answered yes absolutely, but I’d also like to know more about finding communities . Is there some type of directory ?

I dream of it! But my finances are tied up...in that, I have the money, but my husband won't let me have it. Financially held hostage. But, it's still my goal! 🤗

@mtjm

Did it for 5 years. No interest in ever living off grid again!

No. However, it’s fun to watch and learn more about the topic. 😍

I'm older so personally I prefer learning about new areas to place Tiny homes that have others around. Of course more land is nice but it's a lot of upkeep and I want less work not more. Off grid seems like more work too. I think an occassional off grid example is Ok but honestly I didn't even watch the Yurt video.

Would like more information on tiny on land or small homes for sale in Northern NV or Northern California

@HilltheSpill

I'm just personally tired of seeing tiny houses that people just moved into (months ago) or don't live in full time.
