Not A Pound For Air To Ground

Some news for you all. YouTube has decided that Not A Pound For Air To Ground is "reused content" and have informed me that they intend to suspend me and the channel. I have the opportunity for appeal and will do so, but as it stands I'll go dark on October 13th. Since I'm unclear how they've come to this conclusion, I will side with Marko Ramius and give myself one chance in three. I'll keep you updated.

@BlackBart33

That's insane, you are easily the best aviation channel on YouTube, covering subjects no one else goes anywhere near. Hope this gets sorted out.

Meanwhile, YouTube is full of AI "history" channels that merely regurgitate plagiarised scripts written by genuine historians, and ads for scams.

I can’t believe YouTube has flagged you for this… You’ve been my go to aviation channel for years. I’m an aerospace engineer and I’ve always found your content factually correct, wonderfully curated and narrated, with relevant images and video to boot! Hands down the best option I’ve found on this platform to learn about Cold War aviation. I hope this gets sorted out but I’m sure you will find your following everywhere, lots of support from Spain!

How Youtube can even consider your content to be "reused" is baffling . For a couple years I have learned so much on topics I thought I already had a grasp on, and seen historical footage pertaining to such things that I had never seen before. Really hoping for the best outcome in this situation. I don't comment or typically go out of my way to say this, but during this time I think it's important because you are the best military aviation related channel on this platform. Your lectures go into so much detail and depth on so many different topics. It sets you out from the rest and I hope this situation gets resolved as soon as possible.

Come on Youtube....this one hurts. You are hands down my favorite military aviation site. We are pulling for you to win this fight

You produce some of the best documentaries available in the world of military aviation history. They remind me of what I imagine the discovery channel was like as a kid but are so much better. If the answer is finding another platform, please let us know because I absolutely love your work.

Insane take by a company that has no problem letting scammers pay to force AI-generated ads upon us all - as others have said this is an exceptionally high quality channel and I enjoy every episode. I’m sure reason will prevail soon enough

That's outrageous, this is one of the best aviation channels on YT with a unique take on early cold war aircraft, its been a pleasure watching it grow the last year. Really hope this is identified as the tosh it is and we get more of the good stuff soon!

Wow, thats honestly fucking crazy. This is by far one of the best history channels on YouTube. Your videos are absolutely top-notch. The research and production you put into your videos puts University courses to shame.

You should set up a patreon. Not for restricted content but for people such as me who want to chip in once in a while. Your content is quite unique. Your in depth style of presenting is top notch.

Channel popped up in my recommended about 6 months ago and I have enjoyed every video you've put out. Great stories and information paired with the old photos, diagrams and the great voiceover. Do hope Youtube sort this out and let you keep producing amazing content for us all to enjoy.

I swear youtube is the biggest joke. Shorts are filled with ai slop, and half of the lore and history channels use ai scripts. Ur vids are awesome man, hope ur appeal will go through

As an English learner I appreciate the calm, steady pace of your speaking and enunciating words. That and the content itself is very helpful, educational and entertaining.

As many others have said, this is one of the best aviation channels out there. I've learned a lot about Cold war aviation that you can't find on other channels and you have many iconic videos that leaved an incredible impression on me such as your "have donut" "Tu-95" and about half of your content. They're so good that I'll watch the multiple times and use to fall asleep to. Hopefully the pill goes well or you can figure something else out. We'll all support you here 😁

YouTube also randomly flagged one of your videos as “AI” generated content and asked me for a survey on how I liked it. Absolutely bullshit that their bots do this crap. Love your videos and hope this gets resolved soon!

Bad call YouTube. This guy is the best aviation channel on the site.

I don’t want to reiterate the points made earlier but you seriously have done some of the best documentary work I’ve seen. I’ve really loved the 1950s-1960s period of aviation but always knew so little, I’ve learned exponentially more about that and so much else from you. Wishing the best and continued motivation

YouTube has by now become nothing but a nuisance for both creators and consumers. Who would have thought that 10 or 15 years ago? Both sides would be better off without YouTube meddling and trying to control the content that consumers clearly want.

Google's *** AI probably saw all the AI channels copying things and sided with them. I hope you win. Yours is one of, if not the, best aviation history channels here. YouTube is killing itself.

Terrible news... You run the best aviation channel at the moment. The dedication to research and dissemination of information is outstanding, while maintaining historical accuracy.
