Drachinifel

Hello everyone! I'm proud to announce that my book on HMS Belfast will be having a launch event aboard HMS Belfast herself in the afternoon of Saturday 31st of May, 1300-1700.

There will be a short presentation on the ships history, book signings, a fun quiz with extra prizes and a few other goodies you can only get by meeting Drach in person!

Due to venue limitations there are only a limited number of tickets (available at the link below).

Most of the details are on the ticket page, but just a few important details:
-Please ensure you include your name, as this name goes on a guest list which the crew of Belfast will use to determine who gets through without paying the general admission fee. (When you get to the ship, simply tell them you are there for the book launch and they'll check your name off the list)

-Speaking of which, your ticket includes full access to the ship, which would typically cost significantly more!

-If you already have a copy of the book, feel free to bring it along and get it signed and/or hit me over the head with it. 😄

-If you don't have a copy of the book and would like one, there is an option to purchase an add-on that will allow you to pickup a signed copy at the event. (I need to know how many copies to acquire and bring with me!)

I don't see how Mr. NEW DAD had time to write a book with everything else he creates. A tip of the service cap to you and Mrs. Darch. You're both quite a national treasure.

Have followed you since the “this is a part time thing” days when you were just using your own voice. To see what you have done and are doing now as a full-fledged internet naval historiographer is truly special. So proud to be a fan.

Congrats Drach! Wish I could be there. If I ever make it to England, I have a number of vessels that have made my ship list, HMS Belfast included. I intend to board each one in that visit, because I may never have another chance.

A book? Congratulations. About 30 years ago I toured the Belfast while on vacation in England. The design choices were different from American WW2 warships of the same period.

Congratulations from Washington DC! I do wish I could be there. I hope you & your family have a great time among your Fandom. You both deserve it. How you manage to put out all your YouTube videos, write a book, & take care of a family all at the same time & manage to visit all the museum ships as well is truly a blessing and time put to really great use. And now back to the Drydock that I was listening to!

I have been watching your videos since the very early days when you used a text to voice for the narration, then you began to narrate them with your own voice. I am very happy to see how this has succeeded and expanded, and now you have published a book. You have certainly established yourself as a credible voice in the maritime history field. I would like to purchase a copy of your book. Please post a link to where one can buy it, and any other "merch" you may have produced. If you don't already have one, I might suggest a coffee mug with your logo of the old time sailor, which reminds me of the logo of my favorite cigarettes, Players' Navy Cuts.
