I'm having the time of my life, especially now that the gameplay has opened up. I think this might even surpass XC1 and become my new favourite game of all time ;w;

Initial impressions? Gameplay can take a bit to get going as they lock a few too many features at the start imo but once things start clicking into place? Best gameplay in the series. Instantly likeable story/characters/setting can easily seeing it becoming the best in the series.

Initial impressions (I'm on chapter 2 atm) are that the story looks to be strong, music is stellar, gameplay is a bit slow at the start, but gets faster not too far in, characters are all excellent, their chemistry is amazing and I love what I've seen of the villains. After 7 hours, 20/10, can't wait for it to become 10000/10 by the time I hit the 100 hour mark

Beat the game yesterday, best cast in the series and gives 2's gameplay a run for its money. Don't know how I like the story compared to the others yet, though.

I’m 90 hours in and still have 3 chapters left to go and huge areas to explore and uncover the whole map the games absolutely bonkers massive

Feels like a MASSIVE overcompensation for the backlash 2 got. The story is so relentlessly dark I'm almost laughing at how edgy it is and the character designs are really dry. Thankfully the actual character personalities are interesting (Eunie especially) and the gameplay looks amazing. (Still on the fence about getting it myself as I waffle between "This looks awesome!" and "This looks completely repellant!")

Have been completely unable to put the game down since I got it. I’ve even been on the path to doing every quest, and completing as much of the game’s content as I can. I have very few gripes.

Really fucking good game. All the characters are extremely likeable the story has gotten me unnerved so many times and almost made me cry when big robot hug. 10/10 at like the end of chapter 4 and it already feels like the beginning of the end of Xenoblade 2. (Tantal basically) Also juniper is a really cool surprise non-binary rep, I really enjoy them.
