Unfortunately, most kids seem to go through a phase, where they don’t want to interact with parents, other walking ATM mode. But…some, especially after becoming independent adults, (and realizing life is esspensive 🤭), revert just a tiny bit, in a beautiful, but sometimes annoying way. They hold you hostage in video calls, just so it feels like you’re on the couch sitting next to them, while they game, watch a movie, whatever. No matter the “reason” for the call, these interactions are just another way to say, “I love you.”
