I'm from the Philippines, and with all that's happening in the past few hours, I will keep this brief.
We are at a crossroads, between those who seek justice and accountability and those who are seek to do chaos. Between those who seek to reform our system, and those who seek to drag us down to a path of destruction. Between those who aim to speak truth to power, and those who aim to destroy the foundational cause of why the people organized today.
Saw this on Instagram earlier today, and it sums up what I feel today: "...my heart beats with every voice that cries for justice." To those who are exercising their right to express how the nation truly feels about the current state of affairs, the power goes to you.
I was not there, but I feel that I have a platform to at least speak about it. No voice is too small.
