I survived the Top 40 radio stations cutting off the solo as if what they played was the whole song.

In my mind Slash is still shredding on top of that piano in the middle of the desert.

I was grounded the week this came out. I wasn't allowed to watch MTV and it was killing me because I wanted to see this video so bad. When I finally did, it was more glorious than I had imagined.

I survived MTV U playing Nickelback every 15 minutes in 2000.

That is a heck of alot better than what MTV became, which is everything but music television. 😂😂

Yep... it was sandwiched between Enter Sandman and Smells Like Teen Spirit. Every other cycle they would play a 80s throwback.

But we didn't survive MTV playing reality shows every 15 minutes and NO music videos. Wait...we survived, MTV didn't! ⚰️💀

Me too and it was no short video (over 9 minutes long) at least Stephanie Seymour made it more bearable 😍

I survived Cher's Believe in 1998 and Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You in 1992. And I am a huge fan of them both! Have to say when I finally saw Cher live and she did Believe I was like "I get this song now". November Rain was my favorite. Sorta still is, lol.

Ah, the 90s. I grew up in the 90s and some of my favorite memories were staying home from school and watching mtv music videos all day lol.
