In all seriousness Q is Picard’s self appointed guardian/spirit guide so he’s not going to give up that easily. Q was just on DS9 for a side quest/vacation

I loved Janeway's sassy smarts, but nothing beats Sisko's one-two on Q! After all, Q was literally asking for it!

Is just plot armor. Last time Picard didnt go with Q' s humor, he introduced humanity to the Borg

Headcanon: We know Sisko is half Wormhole Alien because the Prophets impregnated his mother seen in that one episode. We also know he has powers to mess with other prophets in the material plane seen in that Episode where Kira becomes inhabited by Prophet-Satan. Without Sisko knowing that is likely why he was able to punch Q. Q being scared of Guinan shows that while a Q is very powerful they are also very vulnerable to other enlightened beings

Maybe don't go with Janeway's method and basically become his kid's GodMother slash Aunt

I actually like all 3 in that order. Try talking first. That doesn't work, use science or plot armor. If all else fails, use a well placed punch to get your point across

All three, in good measure ! After all, you got to let the Q continuum know where you stand as a species ! 😊

Mark Mark: The Final Frontier
Starfleet Problem-Solving 101: Q Edition
Picard negotiates. Janeway outsmarts. Sisko?
He punches Q in the face and calls it a day.
Sometimes the best diplomacy is a well-placed right hook.
Which captain’s Q-handling strategy do you prefer—philosophy, sass, or straight-up violence? Drop your pick and let’s talk Trek tactics.
