Am I only 1 guy or am I in-"fact" a whole town's worth of people? It's mail in voting baby... Here in Australia, you can vote early via mail in ballot papers. Short rant of a pet peeve of mine; As I understand it, voting is meant to be confidential in that no one is meant to know exactly who you voted for. Yet you have to use envelopes that are for ballot papers, if your address wasn't updated after you contacted the electoral commission and attended the nearest voting site (sigh) like what happened to me. You are meant to write your old address and new address on the envelope and sign it, mark whatever check boxes and then hand it back to someone at the voting site. Yeah, real confidential. TLDR, attending voting site to find you aren't registered at the new address only to have your vote become NON-confidential, all because someone didn't do their government paid job and correctly update an address. Rant over. Seems like people aren't just duplicating US money but also mail-in ballot slips. You really have a special kind of place over there. It confuses the knackers out of me at times. Same as Australia can be in its own shoddy dang way.
