My eyes just rolled so much that my optic nerves were exposed. Conspiracy theories be like, "I read this sci-fi novel once, and now I'm convinced its plot is actually the truth."

Owen, if you thought flat earthers were bad, you're getting into a much nuttier area there.

It's getting harder to tell the difference between a conspiracy theory and people who are just trolling

I was told this back in 1984 by Jim Marrs. I thought he was crazy. Nice guy, but fucking nuts. He was full of conspiracy theories. It was fun speaking with him.

Are you sure this isn't the plot to one of those "Secret Nazi Gold" History channel specials from the 2000s?

And then they made an army of vampires and invaded London.

What’s particularly fun is trying to guess wether they’re going to next start ranting about agartha, a flat earth, or both. The conspiracy is particularly popular with those crowds for some reason.

If people can make these conspiracies into fictional stories. I would definitely buy it.

A lot of this comes from “Pseudoscience In Naziland,” by Willy Ley amplified by _The Morning of the Magicians_.

My favorite myth in this vein is Die Glocke being the Roswell Crash.

Yes, and eventually the Last Battalion will return...to...Japan, for some reason. And they'll have flying mechs and armies of crawler drones and Hisler will be wearing sunglasses and wielding the spear of destiny. I understand this all sounds terribly insane, but I learned of this in a very informative documentary: Persona 2.

Maybe it's global, and it's a specific bloodline. They are fixated with bloodline. We aren't the same as them.

Didn't Persona 2 use that as a major plot point? Or maybe I'm conflating it with a Wolfenstein game. I just know both games involve killing Nazis.

Owen Morgan (Telltale)
There’s a conspiracy theory called “the last battalion” conspiracy predominantly believed by neonazis who believe that the Nazis evacuated their supposed advanced technology to Antarctica. The advanced tech? Flying saucers.
All the flying saucers and abductions are Nazi tech spying on the us government
