Nobody Wants to Die is a future-noir detective game set in a dystopian New York in 2329, releasing for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on July 17. It's a walking simulator, but a very good one! I completed the game twice, experiencing the good and the bad ending. Below are the pros, cons, and information about the trophies/achievements in the game.
Pros: - Very well-written and engaging story - Amazing soundtrack - Great visuals - Good voice acting - Immersive atmosphere - Runs smoothly on PS5 - Choices affect conversations - Very fair price - Charming characters
Cons: - The detective elements are very linear, you simply walk around and click on what you're told to - A bit repetitive - No save option - No replayability
Trophies/Achievements Info: - Difficulty: 1/10 - Time to 100%: 4-5 Hours (using my walkthrough), under 3:30 hours possible if you skip dialogues; 10+ hours without using guides
- Game Rating: 8/10
- Glitched Trophies/Achievements: 0 - Playthroughs Needed: 1 (if you have PS+ on PS5 and a USB drive on other platforms, as you need to create a save at a certain point in the game); 2 (if you don't have PS+ or a USB drive)
This game isn’t for everyone! However, if you enjoy walking simulators with a good story, plenty of dialogue, and cutscenes, it’s worth giving a try. For this price the game offers great value.
There are a lot of missable trophies, so if you want to get all trophies/achievements in only 1 playthrough, you can follow my platinum walkthrough.
