I don't care whether it's good or not. I want my videos with original audio regardless of the language and I'll use subtitles for those I don't understand

To explain the hate about the German dub: Imaging for the past year getting served tons of ads for cheap/scam products on YouTube, all narrated by the same AI voice. Now imaging clicking on a new video of a channel that you happily enjoyed with the original audio for months or years, only to find a new dubbed track using the exakt same ai voice that you, for the past year, learned to associate with nothing but scams on YouTube. That’s why we all hate this new ‚feature‘.

From any language to English is pretty impressive. Translating/Dubbing from English to other languages still needs a lot of work.

If possible, please disable it... For me, it's only happening in your channel and I always need to come and turn it off, since it's terrible for Portuguese. Great channel, love your videos!

The biggest problem I have with it is that you cannot turn it off on the client side.

I am german and honestly this auto dubbing feature is annoying. Luckily you can turn it off in the YouTube settings by setting your specific language. To that was such a relief. Concerning your podcast, it feels completely unnecessary since you speak clearly and slowly.

The Spanish dubbing isn't too bad, but the voice they used is really young (almost a teenager) and doesn't have as much emotion as the original. I'd definitely rather watch it in the original language!

I particularly hate when videos are translated to Spanish and all the personality in the voice of the creator is stripped away, towards a not very appealing voice. I turn it of every time.

Absolutely trash, auto enabled based on location. I have os and browser lang to English and videos starts in bad ai generated Italian

The German is really Bad, the voice is Strange. For me its difficult to keep concentrated and to listen to the story.

Recently, YouTube added a feature that seems cool at first. They will automatically translate the transcript to a bunch of languages and even auto dub the videos. Is it any good? I have heard that German is terrible. Are the other languages just as bad?
