It's still technically an assassination if there are no witnesses

I think I might do a hybrid of this for Assassin’s Creed. I usually kill everyone in the base, through stealth or combat. Except for two who I make sure never see me. It’s my head cannon that they eventually find their entire base except for them slaughtered and they never heard a thing. And now they get to live, and they fist think it’s the GOD/ the gods working in their favor before they realize it was actually someone who knew they were their and left them alive and could come for them any time and any place for the rest of their lives.

I was playing mafia 3 and realized it was most fun if i go into an area without being detected, then doing something that gets me noticed halfway through and having to fight my way to the end of the mission

I miss when stealth games forced you to be stealthy instead of just letting you go nuts if you screwed up.

some games do this in the sense that you kill everyone in such quick succession to each other that no one has any time to react, and they all are just dead. No one will notice if there's no one to notice.
