What I hate is the headlines saying "Direwolves are no longer extinct!" This is not true. They genetically altered a normal wolf to grow bigger, effectively creating the Game of thrones Direwolves. Real life Direwolves are more closely related to modern Coyotes and Jackals. Sure, if you want to call your "larger than average wolf" a "Direwolf" then go for it. But for the love of god, please stop saying that Direwolves are no longer extinct! The actual animal is still extinct, and until someone actually finds DNA and uses that to grow a live fetus, they will remain so.

Romulus Remus and their sister Khalesi may not be dire wolves but they are still beautiful animals

Colossal should help the remaining endangered species from becoming extinct

Colossal Biosciences certainly excels at hype, between 'dire wolves' and woolly mice, although they are demonstrating real applications of CRISPR. The Quagga Project is actually making something superficially quagga-like via artificial selection since it was just a subspecies to begin with.

To me sound more like "Ice Age park" theme to me!, I think we could call them "Dire wolf-dog", since there is very little "authentic Dire Wolf" DNA

You know what I hate more? The fact they named one of them "Khalesi" instead of something like "Ghost" or "Nymeria".

Nice video, very nuanced & intricate. on an unrelated note, Can I use your old design of toxodon with the zebra stripes please, I'm planning on a project inspired by Keenan Taylor's tales of Kaimere involving animals from different time periods and I really love your rendition of a Toxodon with the tiny mane on it's neck complete with a unique stripe rosette unlike that of zebras in africa.
