One of the reasons I love the black goo from Prometheus , and at least like the Protomorphs in Covenant, is that it gives us new monstrosities to fear. Alien Romulus also implemented the black goo and although some people didn't like that move, I personally aren't scared of normal Xenomorphs anymore, so that last bit of Romulus really completed the movie for me. And here, we are getting FOUR other species of alien!?!? I am BEYOND excited fuck yeah! We need new horrors, new blood in the franchise. As much as I love thr Xenomorphs, we do need these mix ups to bring in the fear again. Love it.
