An original reel of the Clone Wars Umbara arc had the 501st shoot multiple rounds of lasers at Fives and Jesse during their execution.
I can see why this scene wasn't extended in the final cut -- it's overkill for the clones to fire more than once and intentionally miss all shots. But it does explain why there are more blast marks than clones lined up during the firing squad.
