The fact that one of them was Kix is even crazier. You made the MEDIC part of the EXECUTION SQUAD

It’s definitely a close call because it would’ve made them into mindless drones at that point and while some say it’s the point, I’d definitely just don’t see that in the clones

It makes sense it wasn't in the final cut. But the 327th sure didn't mind doing the same to Aayla on Felucia.💀

I was happy with the squad miss Jesse and Fives in this episode and one of the reasons it is one of my favorite episodes in the show and happy Halloween 🎃

im glad they changed it to one because having 8 blokes firing five rounds each at two guys from ten yards away with no cover is just overkill. a firing squad is normally just one volley

I didn't need to know this. This would've made the scene a lot more horrific honestly. Its very out of character for the clones and in a """"kid's show"""" it would make them seem coldblooded

Wow, this is interesting because I didn’t know there was an extended version of Fives and Jesse execution with the members of 501st shooting multiple times (similar to real life firing squad execution, unfortunately). If they kept this small extension to the final cut, it would’ve made the Umbara arc more dark, but I can understand why they have to cut it out during the editing phase.

what I don't get is why all the shots were actually at the head level and fives and Jesse were ducking. I.e. if they hadn't ducked, the shots probably would have hit???

An original reel of the Clone Wars Umbara arc had the 501st shoot multiple rounds of lasers at Fives and Jesse during their execution.
I can see why this scene wasn't extended in the final cut -- it's overkill for the clones to fire more than once and intentionally miss all shots.
But it does explain why there are more blast marks than clones lined up during the firing squad.
