Your degree won’t be enough.

For years, hiring managers looked one thing - your degree.
Where you studied.
What "brand name" was on your CV.

But that’s changing fast.

A recent #Forbes article argues that AI is making MBAs less valuable.
And honestly? I’ve seen it happen to me.

I did my MBA at Imperial College London, and yes - it helped open doors.
But every opportunity I’ve had? It wasn’t JUST because of my degree.

🔸 My consulting job? Came from networking with strangers.
🔸 Speaking at universities? Came from the content I built online.
🔸 Building my business? Came from execution, not credentials.

Hiring is shifting.

Companies care less about what’s on paper.
They care more about what YOU bring to the table:

🔸 Can you solve real-world problems?
🔸 Can you adapt to new tech?
🔸 Can you think critically beyond what AI generates?

That’s the real currency now. Skills > Degrees.

If you’re job hunting in 2025, here’s my advice:
✅ Stop relying on your degree alone - it’s not enough.
✅ Build real-world skills: communication, leadership, adaptability.
✅ Create proof of work - projects, case studies, personal branding.
✅ Leverage AI, but don’t let it replace your ability to think.

The future of hiring? Proof of work > Pieces of paper.
Your degree is a start. What you DO with it is what counts.

What do you think? What’s one skill you’re working on this year? Let’s talk. 👇
