Ocean definitely. Outer space feels kinda surreal in the sense that we only interact with it as an abstract concept or an external phenomenon, very few people have had the opportunity to interact directly, and even then it was in a really controlled environment. The ocean is right there. People are familiar with the ocean, often unaware of its capacity to kill, and that carelessness is what gets them most of the time. I love the ocean

Middle of the ocean is scarier. At least in space you know you're gonna die alone, probably after passing out from oxygen deprivation. In the open waters you can die from a crazy storm, exhaustion, or something way bigger and badder will tear you apart. You'll be awake and fully aware when drowning, not being able to do anything about it.

Theres a chance of land in the middle of the ocean... assuming you have a boat

Out in the middle of the ocean i have a slim chance to be washed ashore somewhere. In space no one will save me

The ocean would be a constant wondering of what a sound was or what that shape is. If something beneath you is near you. In space you can see all around you. In the ocean you can't see what's halfway down your body

Idk the ocean is pretty terrifying, I wouldn't want something lurking around me. While in space, you'd just die.

We can’t even fathom what space is like so from what we do know were gonna pick the ocean, cause being stranded in the middle of the ocean with god knows what type of creatures are underneath you is the most scariest thing one could think of

In space you lose consciousness in a matter of seconds, in the ocean you feel your body collapse, fail, and try its hardest to survive, all while you look around you and see nothing but blackness, and if it weren’t for the feeling of water on your eyeballs, you wouldn’t be able to tell if your eyes were open or not, until you finally can’t tell the difference anymore, at which point you’re dead.

think of it this way. knowing absolutely nobody will save you in space allows you to accept defeat alot sooner and drop all hope. the ocean you’ll be in constant fear and distress hoping that someone will come by while at a constant threat of death

There's a much higher chance you're found and rescued out in the middle of the ocean compared to the basically 0% chance you get saved from being stranded in space.

Hold on Now, are we forgetting how omnipotent our God is. God has been in a realm completely sealed off from heaven and earth. God can definitely see anyone in space. Although our lord has been quiet for years and watches the earth in silence. However Angels from heaven is massive and are probably more than the populated people on earth.

Space to me is less scarier than the middle of the ocean. I'll take the quick death in space over whatever is waiting for me in the middle of the ocean on top of drowning 😢

Outer space is too cool to be scary. You wanna see aliens look at the bottom of the ocean

Hold on Now😭😭The Vaccum of space, including exposure to the cold, radiation cosmic rays which can automatically damage human tissue and DNA. Just imagine how in Avengers infinity wither away to dust, our bodies will slowly decay. And the Isolation and helplessness in both frightening that why they’re both equally bad. None of these two options should be scarier than the other🤷🏽
