Were back roll catches/refloats good for TEKKEN? 🤔

In older entries of TEKKEN (Tag 2 and earlier) it was possible to refloat opponents that held back to wake up. This was removed in TEKKEN 7's Oki system.

This mechanic made waking up much more risky, as the safe option, standing by holding up, left you closer to the opponent to get mixed up.

Thoughts?

@AAJOB

Most mechanics that were dumbed down were inherently good (larger throwbreak windows excluded, that was one of few good changes T7 made). Punishing if you don't know and rewarding if you do - the problem lies in no Tekken game having an actual tutorial to teach new players on what to do in X situation vs Y situation and how Z works. Gatekeeping is a good thing, look what happens without it :]
