Every year, ministers and lay delegates from Honpa Hongwanji @HonpaHongwanjiMissionofHawaii temples from across the state of Hawaii converge in Honolulu at the Hawaii Betsuin for the Giseikai, or Legislative Assembly. This year's Giseikai is the 113th such meeting of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii.
This year, Windward Buddhist Temple had the honor of presenting during the afternoon session, sharing our story of rebranding from Kailua Hongwanji Mission to Windward Buddhist Temple and the success we've had in growing our sangha and membership.
