As some of you know a year ago I had to put down my eldest dog because of myelopathyl . Not long after that my puppy, called Nalga, had an elbow surgery that got complicated and wasn't able to fully heal. We tried different vets and treatments for months and we managed to mostly close it but unfortunately the wound evolved into a chronic state because of a pretty bad infection.
After months of trying a lot of alternatives we finally found another vet with a promising treatment on October 2024. We made great advancements with it in the last couple months but the costs of it is too much for me to continue paying it by myself right now since the machines and materials required for the Negative Pressure and Hyperbaric Chambers are too high. That's without considering hospitalization, meds and additional cares/time he's needed for the last month.
We owe 10,000 USD in VetBills as of today and he's gonna need the machines a couple days more so we can prepare the wound and plan another surgery next week which hopefully close his elbow once and for all.
