Not sure who sees these posts.. but I just wanted to check in with you guys!

I know it's been a couple of years since I have posted on here consistently.. And I'm always trying to make sure that what I DO post won't just dilute the content from the past.. but I'm being vulnerable with you when I say that I feel like I'm caught in a catch 22 loop.

Side 1 of the coin.. I would love nothing more than to get back on a regular YouTube posting schedule!

Side 2.. it's just so heartbreaking to see videos that I put a lot of work into, get nearly zero traction. And I realize that this is probably just the process of a creator, but it's been increasingly hard to see the appeal of posting videos when I am having success in my actual Film Industry career.

So I'm still struggling as I have been for years now, between wanting to express myself creatively and have a regular connection with you all (I love you guys and the community we have built).. and not caring about the numbers.

All this text is to just say.. I have not forgotten about you. I think about you all every day, and I hope I can force myself to create some talking videos again soon!

Enjoy your success as it comes. The lessons and insights will be there when the time is right to share more again. I appreciate when you make videos because even though I’m not working in stunts much, I feel like you know what you’re talking about, and though it validates my training and experience, it’s exciting to now you’re applying the skills Andy it’s working. YouTube stunt man/coach is pretty niche. Stay encouraged.

Dude honestly i think its brilliant you’re getting work in the industry and we’re all proud of you and excited! Totally understand your dilemma but i think its wise to pursue the career. I’d love to see an updated stunt reel tho!

I'm soon shooting my nexy short film and I've been subscribed for years so I'm going back yo your older videos and have them downloaded, it's the videos on shooting action scenes and stunt scenes (How to Film a Fight Scene Tutorial). It's such a great help, I love your videos and i understand as a creator how tough it is to be consistent and stay motivated when videos aren't doing well. But I love your content and you got this!

As a creator myself, I feel for you. If this helps you in anyway the advice that I was given is the algorithm needs to learn about you and find your right audience. Sometimes this happens right away other times it can take years, but when it does happen, all your videos will explode. I am sure of this.

Dude, I know how much you love to create and you're good at it, there's nothing like the feeling that you're making something you've worked hard on and you expect everyone to see it and enjoy it. I personally go into every video you upload and really appreciate the investment. But on the other hand, it really hurts me to see the small numbers and it might feel like you've torn yourself apart for nothing, it's true that you learn from every project and that's what builds you up, but you don't have to build yourself up anymore, you're a master. There is nothing harder for me than seeing someone who invests like that and doesn't get the reward they deserve, so from an egoistic perspective I would ask you to continue on YouTube no matter what, but from the other perspective that thinks of you I would recommend that you leave YouTube and continue to fulfill yourself because you are a cannon and YouTube sucks time out of you that sometimes goes for nothing unfortunately. In any case I love you and appreciate any decision you choose

Is there value in just having more high quality stuff in your portfolio? Regardless of views?
