Hear me out Her ability to block other attacks is actually a Clashable Guard It would explain why she didn't seem to attack after the clash; the last coin of a clash immediately uses the clashable guard animation. That way she's not actually cancelling attacks; she's still clashing with them and can lose if the clash is bad

My only guess abput the hong lu defend thing is it's like a support attack but with clashable guard and it was a single coin skill enemy used. But no idea, didn't look like clash at all

That enemy sprite can't be thumb, their whole thing is guns (with self-crafted bullets?). This guy's just using an axe. So probably from one of the families.

The last image is the shi family we going to face cuss one the clothing is much redder, two thumb typically carries guns those guys wiped axe's, third they also have caps and forth they no way we going to piss of a thumb that much higher then recardo is and just getting over time to slaying the middle just not enough for recardio

Cancel Enemy's Attack When Targeting Ally??? (I Don't think this is even a Clash it's way too fast.)

(She Unsheathes the Red Greatsword on this Skill, but where did the Sheath go??? Left it on the floor??? Also on some of the sprites there 2 Red Greatswords lol)
A Rupture ID and Most likely utilizing Strider [Mao] + Deathrite [Haste] from other Mao Branch IDs.
(Also her Enhanced S3 might be Burn maybe? because of the Red Greatsword flaming sounds and effect?)
But what I'm most curious about is wtf is that move she does that cancels the enemy's attack???
Is it a passive with something like 1# Deployed Ally(or maybe an effect on one of the skills that marks an ally?? or it's random???) when getting targeted by an Unopposed Attack, If at 10+ Speed, Cancel the enemy's attack??? with something like 3x Glut Res. ?
But that sounds really broken... imagine doing that on a 40 power unwinnable skill (like that one drunken dude boss skill), WHAT IS THIS MOVE??? It doesn't even look like she Clashed in the PV...

Also the enemy that was showcased in the PV, I can't tell if they are either from the Shi Family or The Thumb.
The Red color scheme is brighter than the Thumb and more similar to Shi Yihua, and the markings on the axe kinda matches Shi Yihua shoes, which makes it more likely to be Shi Family.
But the thing on his collar makes it seem like he's part of The Thumb.
There was also that time when Shi Yihua was about to die he wanted to leak his family's secrets, and he said "... Right! The Ten Blades of the East! Yes, the Thum—" *dies*, so The Thumb might be working together with the Shi Family maybe.
(So they could be Thumb members in guise of Shi Family clothes or smth idfk. les just find out in Part II)
