Mink farming isn't banned yet! It passed in the House but hasn't gone through the Senate. We all have a chance to help make this a reality though, by calling our senators and asking them to support the act. It only took me a minute to contact my senators--I just left them a message asking them to support the America COMPETES Act, specifically the section on banning mink farming :)
