I'm glad that some people understand the superiority of the Lycaon pictus π

Wild dogs by far!! Those who chose the wolves haven't paid attention to how ferocious they are and how much stamina they have that's unmatched in the animal kingdom

Wolves are significantly larger individuals. But the wild dog packs have 3x more members.

If both packs were the same size in numbers then the Wolfpack. If it was a typical size for each then the WildDogs will overwhelm the wolves.

Depends on the size of the pack. Even numbers, it's the wolf pack that my money will be on.

Wild dogs have an 85% successful hunting rate, while wolves have only 14% successful rate so I'm going to vote for wild dogs. It amazes me how much people underestimate wild dogs even lions can't compete when it comes to hunting rate which is 25%.

Terrain would be a big factor Both really lives in polar opposite

If numbers were even π€π€π€π€ I'd say wolfs because of size. But wild dogs are a top predator of all predators. They have one of the highest hunting success of all predators. A pack of Wild dogs aren't an easy win for sure, in fact most likely a pack of Wild dogs will prevail. But If the numbers are even. I want to go with the pack of wolv

Iβd love to go for the wolf pack but the wild dogs can literally take on a clan of hyenas so I have to reluctantly give this one to the dogs

Wild dogs have packs maybe double the size of a wolf pack and they have the highest hunting success rate of any animal (70% success rate, wolves is only 14% success rate)

It depends on a number of undisclosed factors. Do the wolves have access to automatic rifles for example?

Depending on the size of each pack, is it 12 wolves and 40 wild dogs or 7-8wolves and like 15-18 wild wild dogs the numbers are very essential to this debate.

"For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack."

Two questions, what kind of wolves, and are the numbers even? If it's gray wolves and the numbers are even, the wild dogs don't stand a chance.

If you donβt think a pack of wild dogs will beat a pack of wolves, you havenβt been paying attention to the literature
