What are your thoughts on the recently announced Alexa+, the generative AI version of Alexa? It says it "is able to orchestrate tens of thousands of services and devices" to accomplish specific tasks, like making dinner reservations, getting concert tickets, and ordering food. It will cost $19.99/month, but is FREE for Prime members. Availability begins in March, starting in the US.

I will probably trial it a little since I'm a prime member but honestly, Amazon has lost my trust with smart home products. Too many times they have sold products and then later bloated them with ads or removed functionality after selling a product.

Unfair that they are leaving the older devices out. People still use the echo dot and echo show...

Long overdue they are way behind but welcome news. See what functions actually work in the UK and how much lead time until they roll it out to us….

Will find out from you guys in the States if it's any good, I'm still in research mode when it comes to voice assistants. I always read to stay away from Amazon when it comes to smart home automation but so many people use Alexa, because of the echo's I like the echo show, I can't remember there's something from Amazon that some YTuber flashes to run something else. Apple your turn to improve Siri
