Microsoft may have just announced the beginnings of Windows 11 25H2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJNFS... So, do you think Windows 11 is ready for another annual feature update this year?

I’m ready for 25H2 if Microsoft releases it this year. I do agree 24H2 still needs work, and honestly I really do like Windows 11. It’s crashed a lot more than Windows 10 ever did. They just need to get the bugs worked out and that’s just my opinion.

It probably won't be out till at least October. We ought to be ready for it by then. I've had a couple of PCs refuse to install a feature update now and then, but that's the only issue I've had. All are running 24H2.

It doesn't really matter. Windows will always be chasing bugs unless they start from scratch.

If it's not broken, might update from Windows 10, or maybe i will go linux and switch to quest native beatsaber

Hopefully they test 25H2 enough, and current Insiders actually do test and report issues. And Microsoft Takes the reports seriously and actually fixes bugs properly. Then 25H2 might be Good and usable OS for normal consumers. Plan on replacing my Gaming Laptop closer to October to be Windows 11 Compatible, and other Household PC as soon as i can. Or i might get a Mini PC, not sure yet 100 percent, as really not sure at this time

Anything to move past 24H2 please.

The 26200 build number may mean that the build is going to be a refresh of 26100 instead of a radical new version.

I'm wondering if MS will require a Microsoft user account for Windows 10 users planning to buy the Extended Security Updates. I noticed the login UI has been updated recently. I hope that's not an omen. That would defeat the whole reason of paid ESU's.

You know, I don't think it is a good idea to quickly release one version in quick succession every year. They should be focused on making it more stable and usable before they add new bugs that will keep preventing many from upgrading it in the first place.

Windows 11 still sucks. Every version gets worse. Linux is the way to go boys!

24h2 should never exist, AI as a chatbot that captures everything you do is the must stupid, and is something that we don't even need, could be usefull if you tell me that the AI manage duplicated files and recognize which one is more advanced or recently and delete or merge files... even if it only works with files from microsoft products, images, video, etc
