36 with an ADHD and autism diagnosis, I didn't admit it to anyone or myself until late last year when I finally got tested. And then I just shut down for months (which I later found was from autistic burnout). However! As I gave myself permission to just be and chose to be uncomfortable and honest, it opened my heart back up. I'm proud of you, what you did was REALLY hard.

Both my wife and I would love to be friends with you. You are very thoughtful.

Josh please reach out to me if you'd like. When I began college I was a phycology major. I think I could offer you a lot of advice that may make your journey a little better. My mother was on the spectrum and I've had experience with these. Take good care of yourself my friend. You're in my thoughts and prayers 🙏. Peace be with you. Joe

Be cautious of pathologising your struggles. I fit the autistic traits too but I’m not seeking any diagnosis because at present, it is a Tik Tok social contagion. Accept yourself for who you are!

Happy Monday - I just want to take a second to thank everyone for your support and feedback. It’s been crucial in helping understand myself more and has given me the confidence to seek a potential diagnosis.
I’m going to make a video in the next couple days discussing the results, but want to take time to process the outcome first.
Have a great week,
Josh
