Newly appointed police chief somehow got invited into the city's crime lords group chat. Every time they designate one from the group to send details and real time updates of a fake devious scheme to the chief as distraction, knowing she would immediately rush to the scene. And while she does so, all the rest will go commit actual felonies. This causes the police chief great headache because despite her successful capture of a crime lord the previous day, morning news of the next day would speak about like 7 other cases throughout the city that somehow slip under the radar.
