I agree, we have had water shortages this year too. Even though I've invested in water butts, my ten butts totalling 2100 litres, ran dry more than a couple of times this year. The alarm was sounded earlier in the year and some places had hose pipe bans. Thanks to a reservoir called Kielder Water the north east of England was not affected. There was talk of having a water pumping option from reservoirs to regions in need, but that was decades ago and never invested in. Instead they use tankers by road, causing congestion and air pollution. More reservoirs were supposed to be built, but thanks to some fool called Thatcher, privatising all national assets, UK water companies are now in the hands of foreign governments and asset finance ghouls. Some may call me a communist, but a nations water, power and rail/bus transportation should never be privatised.

Wells are drying up and now the province of New Brunswick are telling people to conserve water! Why on earth have they waited so long to sound the alarm since we've been in a drought all year? It's high time that people start thinking for themselves to find solutions 🤔 Instead of sounding the alarm after the fact why doesn't the government speak about "Preparedness" in all types of situation? Teach and educate people to become resilient..........What's going on in the areas you live? Let's have a discussion about this in the comments below 😊
