Dual Process Theory

happy birthday week to the game that got me into video games as an art form but also game theorizing. getting into this along with gravity falls as a kid changed my dna forever. I'm bad at being gushy but Undertale genuinely changed my life and how I view video games, art, story, etc. and my gender identity but that ones not special.

Connie still hasn't played it btw. everyone cyberbully her

@ButovaTheStuntman

Undertale showed me some of the worst people in the world and the worst responses a community can make. And yet, despite it all, it still gave me a loving community who have gotten me through a lot of low points in my life and made me feel at home. I guess it's true what they say. Despite everything, it's still you.

Do a theory on Undertale/Deltarune. That way, You'll be able to call yourself a FNaF-tuber, A Sonic-Tuber, And A Deltarune theorist. I'm not sure if that would be a bragging right, Or a societal Demerit. But HEY, It'd be funny. "So, You're a Youtuber? What are you? A FNaF youtuber? A Sonic Youtuber? A Undertale/Deltarune Youtuber?" "Yes."

Undertale really shot its way into my #1 space easily, from music, to the characters, to the gameplay, the entire Hopes and Dreams segment to branch into “Maybe you can SAVE them.” really showed off to me what made this game the best in the world for me. Enough to bring tears because of how incredible it is

I remember watching the Game Grumps play Undertale back when they did Steam Train, up until right after the Papyrus fight. Then I bought the game for myself and I’m so glad I did. I think what’s craziest for me is that this wasn’t Toby Fox’s dream game; Deltarune is. That game isn’t even finished yet and you could argue it’s set to surpass Undertale, which is already a masterpiece.

Undertale remains firmly seated in my Top 3 favorite games of all time, forever enshrined alongside Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy 7 (don't judge me too harshly for the third, the FF's got me into gaming and FF7's music will still make me tear up)
