@mgalyssa

i feel like since he is 100% man and 100% God he would know when he was an infant because he knows all

Pastor here - for my friends who are saying things along the lines of “I still don’t understand this” that makes complete sense and is okay. The Trinity is so incomprehensible and beautiful I’m not sure we will ever really understand what it meant/means for Jesus to be Fully God and Fully Man. But again, that’s okay. The beauty about Jesus is that we will have the fullness of eternity to ask questions!!

He didn't come to a realization.Because1.It's similar to asking when humans discover they are human. 2. Being God He's all knowing

I’m a Christian I’m still trying to understand the concept and this is a hard question, I’m interested to see what people think

I think that knowledge was revealed to him as he gained a sense of self like normal babies/toddlers. Milestones like “baby finds foot, baby finds Mom, baby finds out Mom doesn’t go away forever during peakaboo,” but also Jesus had “I am God” in that mix of early childhood self-discovery

I think that since Jesus as a human was fully human and fully God at the same time, He knew before and during that He was God so personally, I don’t think He ever had to “realize” that He was God.

I know that it is too complex to fully understand the trinity but how I understood it is: say you take and Apple and inside that Apple there are different parts like the seeds, the stem, and the core. God is the Apple, the Holy Spirit and Jesus are different parts of that Apple. Therefore, they are all one but they have different characteristics/purpose. The Holy Spirit is to comfort and baptize, Jesus is our savior, and God is the mighty one over everything. Hopefully that helps.

I’m an ex Christian! But I was taught that he was the son of god, so I think he would always feel the connection within himself

It’s a difficult concept, probably even impossible for humans to understand, but I believe he would know from the start being both fully human and fully God

i was raised in the catholic church and have attended every mass i could over my life. I believe that God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are one, so i think i am going to have to say he always knew. But, as someone who has not done extensive research into this, i could totally be wrong.

Never really was able to think about that tbh so I just assume he always knew but there was also the time when he stayed behind at the temples cause he heard God calling him or something

Good question! I never really thought about it.

I’ve been a christian for like 8 years now and I’m happy to answer this question for anyone struggling with it. So there is this thing called the trinity and basically it just means that God, Jesus, and the Holy spirit are the same person. It’s kind of confusing if you think about it for too long lol. So that means that Jesus always knew that he was the son of God, because in the Bible in Luke 22:70 it says - They all asked, “Are you, then, the Son of God?” And he said to them, “You say that I am”. So Jesus always knew.

I believe that Jesus knew he was God before he even came to Earth. This has always been my understanding but it is interesting to hear what others think.
