How do you feel about listenable, longer videos? Ones that you can just switch on and listen to, without worrying too much about missing a visual that would be important?

I feel like I retain stuff a lot better doing mundane tasks while I listen to things. Think I might move more towards that kind of stuff, but I'm not a viewer.

Or do you prefer visual videos more?

Peace be with youuuu I really like your little drawing. They’re funny and engaging. I feel like when I watch your videos, it is intentional. It’s not something I do to pass time, but to actually sit down, process, and reflect. Even if you were to make it more listenable, I’d still sit down and fully focus on what you’re saying. But if you want to try out something new, I say go ahead and try it out!! Like a podcast series or something, I’d be in full support! I think the only way I see myself listening to it like that is if the video is either very long or if it is a long series, as those would be harder to just sit and focus on

@hypatch8014

Well a lot of your value comes in your visuals, I mean you can draw out something so simple and I can tell that you just get it based on that, it brings a lot of context

I used to do things while watching your videos, but I feel like I never really got the information presented when I was doing that. Also, I really like the drawings

I would love both, depending on the topic and the extension of it etc.

Love listening to stuff while I work so that would be pretty cool to have

Both would be nice Longer videos for things that are harder to explain, shorter ones when you have a valuable message that you learned or sumn

The visuals sometimes grasp too much attention, and after the dopamine detox, my brain wants anything that will make it feel "happy". So I don't really watch the visuals, just listen. The lack or minimalistic visuals will be good.

@ReddBoi64

It’s harder to encode the information when you are just listening, but I’m too employed to watch every video I’m interested in

Listening is less engaging but you can do it whenever so both would be great

I think no matter how you do it, just adding a: Actuable actions in the end, so stuff that we should take out of the vid

@equiknox

More listening with minimal visuals.

I think the relatively short length of your videos is a large boon. Socializing shouldn't feel complicated. If you give too much information, your advice might be less actionable and lead to more overthinking in the viewer.
