Like others here, I'd like to see a timeline video, but also note some common misconceptions that I see whenever someone brings up this new timeline: 1. The Sonic Channel timeline focuses on games that have an impact on the series chronology (like introducing a new character). According to the official lore master, the timeline is still a work in progress and just because a game isn't on the timeline doesn't mean its canon. (For example, Sonic Advance is canon, but it doesn't introduce any new characters, locations or lore. So they don't bother putting it on the story). 2. The Sonic Rivals series also lacks an appearance because the game was not released in Japan, but they are canon due to other references (such as Ifrit being mentioned in Shadow Generations or Silver and Espio's friendship). The FAQ of the website says no games not released in Japan would be mentioned. 3. Blaze is commonly assumed to have been retconned into being from Silver's future in Sonic 06 or she was born there and the time-shenanigan were her origin to get to the Sol world. There is no evidence to suggest she was retconned into being Silver's future. But this common theory has caused confusion that they placed Rush before 06. That all the traditional 2D games of the sonic franchise, the sonic characters never have dialogue, that's something that's been on my mind for a long time and I never understood why? Is it because they can't afford the voice actors or is it because they want to keep things traditional, I don't know I talked with my family about it and no one knows sonic like I do, so I bet you could do a great video about that story.

It’s been talked about before but why most Sonic games post 2001 were in rough shape. It’s because of SEGA’s parent company, Sammy. I’ve heard they see Sonic more as a marketable idea than a franchise and seem to take a “that’ll do” approach to production.
