Sire Squawks

I didn't even realized that I hadn't showed off the V3 FNaF card designs on the community tab yet. This started out as more of an experiment but is becoming sort of a full overhaul of the TCG now. It makes the cards look WAY more professional, easier to print (Hopefully better looking in print too), has a more coherent style and theme to it, is cleaner and I'd argue is easier to read, and gives me a chance to address more fundamental balance quirks and older somewhat outdated effects and early game concepts that were either phased out or refined later.

I've got about 140/700 cards updated in the style so far- and also am using them for another smaller project in the TCG- premade structure decks in the discord to help people learn the game better. I also plan to use V3 as the basis for any ports of the game moving forward- so if the game comes to anything else- the V3 design will be the reference point.

Even beyond the visuals- there' a lot of small quality of life changes like more coherent card colorations (previously the base color of the card was a bit of a free for all- it's now clear cut "Beige=Map based card, Blue=Customization, Purple=Off Map character, Red=Hybrid on and off map character, Grey=Token", the cards have proper set numbers now, and it's easier to credit artists now too. Full arts are also true full arts now that go all the way to the edge of the cards now. Aliases (secondary card names that are used for effects) are also now part of the card's name box instead of the effect text- freeing up some room.

It's really fun to work on and I feel really good about how the cards turned out and are continuing to turn out. I want (once a little bit more work is done) to try and see if I can find some help to make a proper digital version of the game at some point as like a gamejolty fan game- but there's some underneath the hood stuff that needs to be worked on first before that can even get close to development.
