Final predictions before tomorrow's #NintendoDirect and #MarioMovie2 - Rosa is voiced by Gemma Chan, Anne Hathaway or Florence Pugh - Kamek and Bowser Jr (voiced by Tara Strong, Nancy Cartwright or Awkwafina) will serve as the new main villains - Yoshi is not voiced by a celeb, he just makes sounds by the original VA (Kazumi Totaka) - The conflict revolves around Junior and Kamek trying to free Bowser so they can rule over the galaxy - Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad and now Yoshi travel together to stop them - Rosalina will appear through visions of some kind throughout the film and make her official appearance in the final battle - DK MIGHT show up for a bit but won't be nearly as relevant - Peach's arc will be the focus and will most likely be about the responsibilities of ruling - Luigi will be a mainstay this time around, and have comedic moments with Yoshi throughout the film (MAMA LUIGI IS REAL) - Bowser will have more screentime but be far less relevant for a majority of the film (maybe he's broken free early on) - Toad and Toadette shenanigans (couple goals??) - Another original song (probably some goofy like a power ballad between Luigi and Bowser idk) - Copyright songs will return (unfortunately) - Mario & Peach become an official couple - Rosa may/may not become a mainstay going forward - Next film will be about Odyssey - Cappy (idk Tom Holland?) will be a new main character in movie 3, along with Daisy (Ayo Edbiri), Wario (Danny Devito/Clancy Brown) and Waluigi (Steve Buscemi/Willem Dafoe) - The Wario Bros will be teased in a post credit scene - Rosa may/may not become a mainstay going forward - DK will come back for 3, and Pauline (Kate Higgins) will be a new character - New villains are... I have no idea tbh
