Option 1: You run a SaaS platform that helps others launch their own SaaS. They whitelabel and resell your tools to their clients. this means your customers become agency owners and SaaS founders—not SMBs. It’s harder to sell to them unless you’re strong at marketing or have contacts, also the architecture gets complex. FYI - You can still create your own account inside the platform and sell B2B so it does work either way buy like I said your app is way more complex. But its really sticky once you get a whale client in.
Option 2: You skip the extra layer and become the SaaS yourself. You sell directly to SMBs, which keeps the architecture simpler and the business more straightforward. Its easy to sell this way and the code is more flexible. But yeah you loose out on the extra layer. With this model, you'll get way more leads, its still sticky.
