The Life Of A Borderline

SO ➡️ I don’t believe the "eyewitness" named Katja who said that she saw Kurt on Monday, April 4th, standing in front of his house.

What I do believe is that she was told something — or heard something — about what had happened to Kurt, and that her story may be based on second-hand information rather than an actual sighting.

When I look at the full picture and put all of the known details together, this scenario that I have described many, many times, makes far much more sense:

In my interpretation of the timeline, Kurt gets home on Saturday, April 2nd, after leaving rehab. Word spreads quickly — someone from the house, Cali, informs Courtney that he escaped and is back at the property, maybe even stating that he has been coming and going from the house. Courtney begins urgently looking for him, already aware that he left rehab “over the wall,” - as Cali had told her over the telephone.

That Saturday, Kurt probably left the house briefly, but eventually returned to his home where he felt safest. He stayed low-key, avoiding windows and not wanting to be noticed by anyone coming by. Inside the house he still felt a sense of protection, partly because he had the shotgun — although, according to this theory, he didn’t have it with him in the basement later - at least not right near him.

At some point in the afternoon or evening, after using heroin, Kurt is in a vulnerable state in the basement when Mark, Dylan, and possibly Daniel Clint Rich walk downstairs and into the basement with Joe and Cali. Mark and Dylan pressure Kurt to go up to the greenhouse. Part of the pressure, in this scenario, involves pushing him to use more heroin, but Kurt refuses and gets irritated. He gives them attitude, gets sassy with them, and tensions rise.

Then, in this reconstruction, a physical fight breaks out. Mark allegedly grabs at him, trying to force him toward the greenhouse. Kurt resists. A struggle follows. Mark hits him with something metallic, dazing him severely.

What I am about to reveal down below was told to me personally ⬇️

While Kurt is disoriented on the ground, Dylan gets on top of him and Mark starts injecting him while Kurt repeatedly kept saying, “What the f***?! What the f***?! What the f***?!”

A picture of Cali's artwork says, “Don’t touch me, you pig,” which some may interpret as symbolic of this moment. Mark being nicknamed Red (think of the 1970s movie Carrie and the pig blood).

Once Kurt is incapacitated, Mark and Dylan drag Kurt toward the greenhouse — Mark lifting him under the armpits, Dylan taking the feet, and Cali clearing the path and opening the way. They bring his unconscious body into the greenhouse, position him there, and then, a gunshot is inflicted.

The suicide note is placed afterward, possibly the next day, on Monday, April 4th.

On Monday, when officers visit the house in response to the missing-person report, everyone acts innocent, pretending they have no idea where Kurt could be — despite him being in the greenhouse above them all.

Later that night, when Joe and Bonnie finally decide to leave — mostly because Bonnie insists they need to get out — they look up toward the greenhouse. According to Joe, they see someone up there wearing a red dress... They someone most likely being Mark Lanegan. He may have been performing some kind of strange ritual or symbolic act in the greenhouse - or was it someone else up there on that Monday night? - That part I still question...
