My brother, indirectly. He was playing Blind by COC while he was in the shower (loud) so I just heard it a lot. When I opened my ears to it I found that I loved it.

The Guitar Hero and Rock Band series, which I got into when I was like 6, my brother and I were obsessed with those series for many years. I got into Dream Theater when I was 10, and they were the first band I truly became obsessed with (I liked several artists before, but that was the first when I felt like I needed to acquire every single one of their albums). I dabbled with metal, but I truly didn't start exploring it until I was 13 and got into Iron Maiden and Metallica, and then 15 when I got into Trivium, who were the ones who made screaming finally click and also made me pick up a guitar; they all opened up a whole new world for me.

My dad. He was a big fan of Black Sabbath. He was also into Deep Purple, Ted Nugent, Wishbone, Trapeze, Jo Jo Gunne, and many others. His favorite band was Slade. I was born in 1977. So the hard rock/metal influence had been there since birth.

My mother gave me Metallica Reload in 1998, I was 11 yo at the time, and it changed my musictaste drastically. I fell into the rabbit hole and didn't stop until I heard Gnaw Their Tongues.

Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005). My favourite ingame music ended up being the 5 metal songs from Bullet for My Valentine (Hand of Blood), Avenged Sevenfold (Blinded in Chains), Mastodon (Blood and Thunder), Static-X (Skinnyman) and Disturbed (Decadence).
