I’m glad you’re posting AI stuff. I stopped working two years ago due to leukemia diagnosis. (Treatment is going well!) But now the development industry has changed so much. So I’m really glad I’m already subscribed to someone doing AI content. Furthermore you said you’d move into more of a development and product channel. Perfect, I intend to watch all of your content!

AI fatigue is real. I mean, everywhere you see a headline "LOOK THIS NEW AI CONTENT", "THIS NEW AI WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING", "AI WILL REPLACE YOU IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS". Its just exhausting.

Remember when people cried because flash was dying. Now for this generation is because AI will make then not as essential anymore.

Don't listen to the 1% of audience that complains. The silent majority dont feel the same as they do.

I LOVE the AI content. It's actually made you one of my go to YouTube designer channels because I'm looking for ways to incorporate AI into my workflows. I understand needing to switch things up and stay up to date with the latest technology. It's exciting and just like anything has good and bad sides but we can learn to use it for good💯

Yeah I feel like a lot of folks are missing the boat on AI particularly in the design space. Between fleshed out low code tools like Play (Create with Play) and Framer and vibe coding the future is bright for designers

Well I subbed because your use of AI and design is great. As they say, let a thousand flowers blossom. Keep going 💪

New sub here. I love that you arent afraid to touch AI tools even though you have years of design experience. It’s exciting to me seeing you combine your knowledge with new tools and make things possible that wasn’t possible without AI. Love the videos and laid back vibe, keep it up 👍

As an early watcher of your channel, I have learned a great deal about the web development and design process from you. Equally excited to see what you bring to the table with AI.

I love the topics you cover. Of course, your channel name says "Design" but AI, Rive, and so on can be ways to help designers. As a junior designer, I feel empowered seeing all of these AI tools to help me build products. Keep up the Great work!

Your video really inspired me, and now I’m working on building my own micro-SaaS product to bring my ideas to life

Ai will keep getting better whatever we want it or not, for me I'm just trying anything I can do to survive. Try to understand ai pros and cons, having discussion if my job can be replaced with the current ai model or not, can I use ai tool to assist with the vision I want to achieve, is there anything I can do better than the current ai etc. I understand some people anxious about losing their source of income because of ai but cutting any information available about the change ai can do will make me igorant and not ready when I have to deal with it.

Some people are complaining that I'm covering a lot of AI now. They subscribed to me for the design content, not AI.
That's fine, but I've spent the last few years uploading videos at like 1x per week, completely bored and sick of covering the same crap ad nauseum. It was such a struggle and I hated the process after having done the same thing for 10+ years.
AI has come along and transformed how I work, and reinvigorated my desire to produce content.
I'm genuinely excited about AI, and I'm pushing this channel into focusing on design engineering. I'm not just teaching design anymore, I'm teaching full product development augmented with AI, along with hand-driven skills across design and code.
YOU CAN DO IT ALL NOW! To me? That's exciting as hell. To others, however, they're frustrated that I'm not confined in the UI/UX box.
Those people (which are mostly AI denialists) aren't going to fare well if they're going to keep their head in the sand regarding AI.
Again, I am not pivoting solely to AI. I'm covering all aspects of product development, which includes AI.
Hopefully my long time subscribers understand this, and look at this as an opportunity to expand their skills and have fun learning new tech.
