Assalamu alaikum I just finished reading this and I appreciate you. May Allah reward you. It didn’t go the direction I thought it would (in a good way) and gave great insight into actual blackness. whether the literal colour or the accepting of being labeled it due to slavery and Jim Crow (even though we are brown) I’m more confident in just saying I’m a Muslim instead of having to specify I’m a Black Muslim.
