Welcome to Seoul / Connecting Seoul International Exchange Review
I gained meaningful and interesting experiences by participating in the “Welcome to Seoul / Connecting Seoul” international exchange. The main purpose of this exchange was to introduce cultural sites in Seoul to foreign friends through the virtual reality metaverse and provide an opportunity to learn Korean at the same time. This is seen as an important effort to promote understanding of Korean culture and language among foreigners around the world.
Because the participating countries were diverse, we were able to experience and understand different cultures. We had time to share each other's cultures with participants from various countries such as Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka. In this multicultural environment, we were able to make new friends and improve our understanding of each other.
Although today was the first session, we were able to start the exchange in a pleasant atmosphere through introductions by the teachers and a time to get to know each other among the participants. Everyone actively participated and was happy to welcome the start of the exchange.
It was very innovative to introduce historical sites in Seoul, Korea to foreigners around the world using virtual reality. This allowed participants to feel like they were actually there and increased their interest in Korean culture and history. Additionally, for participants who wanted to learn Korean, the experience of learning while using the language in an actual field was very beneficial.
I am very happy to have the opportunity to respect and understand each other's cultures, meet new friends, and communicate through these international exchanges. “Welcome to Seoul / Connecting Seoul” international exchange was a valuable opportunity that provided various experiences and knowledge to participants.
"웰컴투 서울 / 서울을 잇다" 국제 교류에 참여하여 뜻깊고 흥미로운 경험을 쌓았습니다. 이 교류의 주요 목적은 가상현실 메타버스를 통해 서울의 문화 유적지를 외국인 친구들에게 소개하고, 동시에 한국어를 배울 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것이었습니다. 이는 전 세계 외국인들에게 한국 문화와 언어에 대한 이해를 증진시키는 중요한 노력으로 여겨집니다.
참여 국가가 다양했기 때문에 다양한 문화를 경험하고 이해할 수 있었습니다. 미얀마, 필리핀, 인도네시아, 베트남, 스리랑카 등 다양한 나라의 참가자들과 함께 서로의 문화를 공유하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이러한 다문화적인 환경에서 새로운 친구들을 사귀고 서로에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있었습니다.
오늘은 첫 번째 시간이었지만, 선생님들의 소개와 참가자들 간의 서로 친해지기 소개 시간을 통해 즐거운 분위기 속에서 교류를 시작할 수 있었습니다. 모두가 적극적으로 참여하여 교류의 시작을 기쁘게 맞이할 수 있었습니다.
가상현실을 이용하여 전 세계 외국인들에게 한국 서울의 유적지를 소개하는 것은 매우 혁신적이었습니다. 이를 통해 참가자들은 실제로 그 곳에 있는 듯한 느낌을 받으면서 한국 문화와 역사에 대한 흥미를 높일 수 있었습니다. 또한, 한국어를 배우고자 하는 참가자들에게는 실제 현장에서 언어를 사용하며 학습하는 경험이 매우 유익했습니다.
이러한 국제 교류를 통해 서로의 문화를 존중하고 이해하며, 새로운 친구들을 만나고 소통하는 기회를 갖게 되어 매우 기쁩니다. "웰컴투 서울 / 서울을 잇다" 국제 교류는 참여자들에게 다양한 경험과 지식을 제공하는 소중한 기회였습니다.
