When I was in Japan this summer, I got some silk specifically for a tea gown. It's not going to be made for a while, but I'm so excited for it!

I've been into morning rappers and tea gowns from all sorts of classes from 1870 to 1890

The tea gown because it’s so pretty but the rococo wrapper looks really nice and simple and leaves room for a lot of embellishment.

Hocus Pocus made me loose my focus haha I’d like to make a tea gown but realistically I’ll get impatient and make something simpler.

I love the idea of a tea gown, but I know in reality I’ll wear the heck out of a wrapper

I went with the tea gown, but I'd be fascinated to learn about the robe de chambre

As a guy who wears medieval historical clothing everyday I wear a tunic and hosen and a hood. I don’t wear woman’s clothing so the choices given would not be for me.
