Just focusing on “weight loss” (instead of muscle building) will come back to bite you. Here’s why:

1. When people lose weight, they don’t just lose fat. They lose muscle too (a lot of it).

2. Muscle is your body’s “metabolic engine”. As you lose muscle, your metabolism slows down.

3. That’s why many people who lose weight hit a plateau, then experience rebound weight gain (because their metabolic engine isn’t running as hot, so they burn fewer and fewer calories)...

…or they get discouraged that the weight loss has “stopped” and return to old habits.

So save yourself the heartache of losing weight then gaining it back… and prioritize building muscle this year.

As long as you’re not going off the rails with your diet, you WILL burn fat as you put on muscle…

Because as you’re putting on muscle, you’re basically adding “metabolic engines” to burn more calories for fuel…

Heck you’ll probably be able to loosen the reins on your diet a bit and still see some fat loss.

With that said, building muscle while trying to burn fat can be tough if you go at it alone…

And that’s because there’s so much conflicting information about how to do it.

I’ve helped thousands of guys learn how to build muscle while getting ripped - and I’d be happy to help you do the same…

I’ll write up a step-by-step plan for you… and I’ll teach you the principles behind the plan so you know exactly how to put on muscle and manage your weight from now on.

I’ve only got a few spots available to join my coaching program, so if you’re interested, fill out an application now to ensure you don’t miss your chance.

Easier said than done... I need to lose weight but I have trouble lifting. Having serious injuries doesn't stop me working out but seriously limits that. It's a long recovery road and some injuries will never fully recover

@Hello_Ladies

Walking burns fat instead of carbs. I can do an hour walk on an incline at 3mph, barely breaking a sweat without wearing myself out early in the morning, then lift within 5 minutes if I want. Even if I choose not to lift right away, I can easily fully recover from the walk, and work out later on.

I've been doing stuff from your videos for over a year and it's completely changed my life for the better 🙏 I unfortunately had a little bump in the road I have diverticulitis that hospitalized me so I had to take a month off lifting but I'm back at it until surgery where I'll have another month off but I got my whole life ahead of me so Thank you muscle monster 💪

At the start of 2017 I was planning on doing my first Tough Mudder in September. So I joined the Y and was diligent to do a sensible lifting routine along with a reasonable running plan for a 55 year! I really didn't focus on diet, but trimmed back on snacking. During that time I lost 25 lbs but I actually put on muscle in all the right places. 💪🏽 With more muscle, my metabolism roze‼️ Eight years later I'm still doing Tough Mudders and other events and I feel like I don't look so bad in a Speedo.

Hello my friend I wanted to ask you. I’ve dropped 216 LBS in the past two years and I’m having loose skin removal surgery this July. Which should show a clear and visible six pack by the time it’s done. I do high intensity cardio plus high intensity weights five days a week. I’m currently at 198 LBS when few years ago I was 416 LBS. Would 5000 clean calories a day be a good fit for me based on my level of training?
