Prepare the dry fruits: Chop or pulse the dry fruits (coarsely crushed). Do not grind into powder. Roast the dry fruits: Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add the chopped dry fruits and lightly roast for 2–3 minutes. Remove and keep aside. Roast the dates: In the same pan, add another 1 tbsp ghee. Add the chopped dates and roast for 1 minute on low flame until they soften. Combine: Mix roasted dates and roasted dry fruits together. (Optional) Add 2 tbsp jaggery powder for extra sweetness. Shape the laddoos: While the mixture is slightly warm, take small portions and roll into ladoo balls.
