Initial D never disappointed but damn it was hard to get over the plot armor from Takumi’s race against God Arm. The animal in the road against Tomoyuki was understandable to an extent at least. It’s always a possibility that animals can get in the road and no one wants to mess up their car up hitting one.

Absolutely the Goa Arm. He was better than Takumi. Even managing to overtake him AFTER having the signature move pulled on him. Takumi should have lost.

When God Arm had to throw up it was so damn random that it left me confused and for a long time. I had to figure out what plot armor was before I came to that conclusion. Even the animal in the road for Tomoyuki wasn't that farfetched.

while the god arm race is the most obvious answer, i still don’t agree that the race against kyoichi was a “tie”. i feel it should have been counted as a loss.

Here's the thing about God arm he was stressed out the weirdest things can happen to a seriously stressed out driver from sickness, mistakes, even heart palpitations or heart attacks stress is a serious thing that effects every driver it's just down to how you can handle it

Well, Mark Webber DNFed in Formula 1 due to vomiting mid-session, so everything happens. Animal on the road? Also happens. But why Kyoko said that first race is a tie is beyond me, it would be competely fine that Takumi had one lose with the old spec 86

Honestly, I won't mind if takumi lose to god arm especially takumi getting left behind on last round in god arm races. In tomuyuki ek9 race, i think it's like reflection to avoiding something on the road and stepping down brakes.

People angry about the God Arm race.....just think properly.....he is an aged man....and that battle was dragged down a lot....from thr beginning of the race God Arm was not feeling well...he should have postponed... still it was his own decision to race.....he dragged out the race too far..as a result his body couldn't keep up and ultimately he lost the race....it was completely his fault he lost the race.

When the moment God Arm pulls over to vomit, that where i confused for the next 5 hours. God Arm should win against Takumi, cause Takumi tried his best to get closer in the back of S2000. But because he always trying to use the gutter so he can speed up to widen the gap to overtake God Arm, he broked out his suspension. That what's make God Arm should win

They were all so stupid, 2 the cat and vomit is still realistic but just way to much luck making it so bs The tie could been seen as sportsmanship, but takumi did blew up his own engine... Wasn't the mazda mx5 race also not like this that the spoiler came loose and gave takumi the win?
