“My names Daniel I'm 37 years old and this is my story:
I started taking drugs from the age of 14 whether it was smoking dope or drinking I always knew I was different to anyone else because one or a few was never enough.
As years went on I still manageably took drugs and worked a job after a few times being caught drink and drug driving I still kept using the same eventually I was introduced to ice and used now on a daily basis which went on for years to come.
I lost my job which I loved and had no self respect let alone any for anyone around me.
One day I realised I'd had enough in July 2018 a close family member suggested I try a 7 day detox and I also attend n.a meetings so I give it my all.
After feeling so much guilt and feeling so hopeless for so many yrs I now started to feeling better again and after a few months clean the obsession to use had left me.
4 years and 7 months later after all the hard work I now live a life beyond my wildest dreams”
