My long-term hypothesi is the past family tree generations poor life style. What your parents and grandparents did growing up will have an increase chance to be passed down on to you the childrens children. A family member had a poor lifestyle but had no side effects. When you are born you have an increase change of low symptoms even without you having a poor lifestyle growing up.
